The stunning and beautiful Ruby and Diamond bracelet is a part of the Cartier Ruby Suite gifted to Elizabeth Taylor by her then husband Mike Todd in 1957. This bracelet is a part of a sentimental and touching segment of Taylor's life. Its is estimated to be around $150,000 – 200,000 in an auction next week.

The set was gifted to her while she was swimming laps in the pool at their villa in St.-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. The short love story lasting only one and a half years is decorated with famous ornaments. The list starts with the Emerald Engagement Ring, the famous Tiara and the insanely beautiful Cartier's Ruby Diamond Suite. Once Elizabeth loved a set of earrings so much that she bought them still knowing that they were not made of Diamonds. Mike secretly got the same designed in real Diamonds and replaced them with the original ones!

Though the love story between Richard Burton and Taylor is much talked about, Mike Todd is believed to be the love of her life and the one responsible for introducing her to the jewelry world. Mike died in a plane crash in 1958 while still being married to Taylor.

Updated: The Earrings were auctioned for $842,500 dollars yesterday, around four times its estimated price! A very popular love story i would say. Everyone wants to have a token of it.
