Magnificent 5.03 carats, Natural, oval shaped Ruby of Burmese origin set in center of 18K White Gold mount. This red stone full of fire is surrounded by brilliant-cut and pear-shaped Diamonds together weighing approximately 1.70 carats, extending to the shoulders.

My birthstone is ruby. I am a 45 yo cardiac rehab nurse and single mom who never married. In July 2008, I bought a 3 carat ruby ring surrounded by ten 0.10 carat diamonds in a Princess Diana style. I had saved my money for 5 years and designed this ring with help of a local jeweler. It may appear silly but, even though the majority of my friends are married, have gorgeous wedding sets, beautiful families, and palatial estates, my ruby ring empowered me. I believed that I had Wonder Woman status when I wore it and it kept my friends from pitying me because I have limited family and social support. Graciously, I readily accept whatever God has in store for me but, sadly, in 2012, my ring was stolen while I was volunteering.
I refuse to feel victimized because I believe that I will obtain a new ruby ring even more precious than the ring that was taken from me.
